Invoiced is shown excluding VAT, cash columns include VAT. Months highlighted in gold end with a negative balance.

VAT is due on what you invoice, not on what you collect: with long payment terms you often pay the VAT on a sale before your customer has paid you. The two-month period (January and February, March and April...) is paid in the following month.
A simplified forecast: advances are paid the month after the turnover, VAT refunds arrive in the payment month, and annual tax, Bituach Leumi for the self-employed, loans and investments are not included.

These calculators are spreadsheets I originally made for my own use, shared as they are to help you think things through. They give estimates based on the published rates for the current tax year and on the assumptions you enter, and they may contain errors or simplifications. They are not tax, legal or financial advice: check all the information yourself and with a licensed accountant, lawyer or mortgage adviser before making any decision.
